i'm waiting for mine to arrive in the mail. i know it's leaded and is streamable, but i kinda want to just listen to the cd. doing the same thing for langhorne slim!! built to spill did not earn that this time around, since their previous one was so bad. but there is no enemy is good enough that they might get the CD treatment next time around.

i heard somewhere that this album is more piano than guitar, is that the case?

I can appreciate that, I still try to do that too but almost always crack when it leaks/streams. It is very much more piano based than Heretic Pride and doesn't quite "rock" as hard but I'm always captivated by Darnielle's word-smithery. Apparently there is a bonus disc of demos from the album that is available at thinkindie and from Rough Trade Records too.

(Hopefully no lame rhymes in this post)

i watched it on hulu this morning when iw as getting ready for work. i thought it was great!! i hope he's prepared for the colbert bump!
