My filename is "Crying Tree of Mercury (demo)." How does that say it all? It doesn't tell me anything. If I knew where it was from exactly, it'd have a better filename...

I want to know its origin. So it was posted on his MySpace you say. Anywhere else? Is there a demo tape circulating? What demo is it from? Are any other demos from that session available?

Thanks for the help but I'm hoping for some more information.

The file name and the tagged title, really.

We have nothing else from this, and as far as I remember, there was only ever one other "unreleased" song on his myspace - a remix of HMM which I never heard. The myspace would circulate songs regularly, and these were amongst them.

The tagged only adds "piano" to that. I mean, I wouldn't be posting if I needed to know it was a demo or with a piano... My question was where it came from originally since it's not from the acoustic demos or the Friends & Enemies tape. I didn't know it was from MySpace though so that's the answer if that's the first and only place it appeared...

Does anyone have that HMM remix they can share? And does anyone else remember if there are any other tracks, and confirm the origin is a myspace mp3?
