[…] We didn’t mind the tracks from new album ‘Oceania’, but what really disrupted the whole experience was all that jamming; eventually you get tired of headbanging and you’re left just standing there wondering when they’re going to move on to an actual song. Granted, the band did eventually do ‘Zero’, ‘Today’, ‘Ava Adore’ and ‘Stand Inside Your Love’, but the songs felt a little forced.

The only crowd interaction Corgan did was getting us to sing the first verse of ‘Today’ (that and the time when someone threw a water bottle on stage to Corgan’s disapproval, who shook his head crossly and wagged his finger at the culprit).

After a lukewarm performance of ‘United States’, that was the last we saw of Billy Corgan and his band. You probably know by now that they didn’t come back on for an encore. Not to be dramatic, but we were left stunned and unsure of what to think anymore about a band we were so looking forward to see.
