I really can't imagine a life without Studio Ghibli.
It would be a Holocaust of the Soul.

You can quote me on that.

yea... I have no idea what's holding me back really. I have seen stills and sequences of most of them - it's required "Ghibli style education" - but only saw one, My Neighbour Totoro.

I got so emotional that I decided to wait a decade with the next one lol.

You should check out Boris man... It took me awhile, but I'm on the bandwagon.

People talk about Billy Corgan being prolific and having a wide array of styles?!? Boris trumps him in both regards. I'm digging Boris so much right now and I haven't even scratched the surface... They have so many releases, it's insane.

Fuck Corgan and his bitter and jaded bullshit!

Other way around for me, Boris was my go-to for a while, this fall I fancy some "softer" tunes, like Alcest! But yea, not knowing Boris means your ears are missing out.

I still have no desire whatsoever to turn this Alcest album off, yay!

Thanks to Ogibabla being this forgettable, I found a new band to discover front to back, thanks Crogan!

Hey guys, what's the best Alcest album to check out?

I've never even heard anything by them I don't think.

Man, it's exciting having new music to dive into. I was getting pretty jaded and stagnant with my listening habits for awhile.

Holy shit you really are listening.to Boris.

Koei is riff heaven. Death Valley has a phenomenal Wata solo. And I saw 1970 live in 2011!!

Once I listened to Heavy Rocks and Ecailles de Lune on amphetamines and weed.

True story.

That's rad man! You're right though, Heavy Rocks slays... Pink seems to be the album that everyone raves about, and it is a great record too, but I think Heavy Rocks is better

It's music with intensity, rocking stuff with great guitar work... All the things that used to be great about Corgan that he has lost years and years ago.

Pink is more experimental and has a bunch of styles.

Heavy Rocks is Stoner Metal. It was my first Boris album.
