Default Who's in the band? - London show 5th December

Seeing as he doesn't have a band it seems strange they're announcing a gig so soon:

http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/The-Sm...stvenue_module

I'm already double booked on that day so can't make it myself despite it being a pretty local venue for me.

According to Corgan it's an "All star line up" that is going to generate a bunch of hype

I think we all know that at this stage, simply playing a show with Billy Corgan under the name Smashing Pumpkins does not guarantee you that you will be a member of the band.

Billy has invited musicians to be temporary members during transitional periods for the band.

http://www.spfc.org/tours/date.html?tour_id=1402

I have a strong feeling this show could be similar.

"Aside from possible gigs with Tommy Lee, have you given thought to who’s going to be on stage with you next year?

“I have. It’s going to be a great thing that I wish I could tell you about, but I can’t. It’ll definitely be an all-star band. It’ll cause a stir, which is good. We start rehearsals any day now. For some reason, we can’t announce it yet. It’s not in my hands.”

will he make Brad Wilk wear a ladies wig so he can continue to live out his oedipal fantasies on stage?

Hmm is it worth going to more than 1?

Billy said no special Mellon Collie shows etc so I guess it will just be the new album in full with like zero and bullet?

What's the venue capacity for the Camden? As long as they avoid arenas, unlike what they did for the Oceania tour, it should sell reasonably well.

His 20 year old target group let out a collective, "who?"

Obviously Billy has a very different idea of what "all-star" means. Rage Against the Machine brokeup like 15 years ago and nobody gives a shit about the killers anymore. I don't see how Brad Wilk's style even fits into the pumpkins and I don't know much at all about the killers drummer. I never noticed the drums while listening to any of their songs. What a weird fucking lineup.

You're a bit confused. Brad Wilk is the RATM drummer and Mark Storrmer is the Killers bassist.

You're right. I thought Brad Wilk was the guy with the solid black tattoos on his arms. It has been a long time since I've listened to Rage.

Billy wants you to know that he's "jazzed" about the shows/lineup and the "killer" set.

I really think Jimmy will be back after this tour. Maybe wishful thinking, but, just seems that way to me.

I'm excited about this. I hope I can go. Mark did some cool bass stuff in The Killers. I think Brad is in the same ballpark as Tommy Lee, so that doesn't seem so crazy. I'm interested in hearing him playing some of the lighter songs.
