Jeez I was such a Morrissey freak for the longest time. I've cooled it in the last couple of years. I'd hope to see him again, live, at least one more time.

I thought I was a big fan until I saw him live, holy shit

Show had to be cut short due to stage invasion and security was prepped for it and everything and just got trampled Moz totally encouraging it

I've seen him live about a dozen times. The last time was a couple of years ago.

Thankfully it appears that for future tours he won't be dragging Kristeen Young along with him as an openign act.

Default Even I, as sick as I am, I would never be you

i think at this point i've listened to more of his solo stuff than the smiths. i'm ok with that.

my top 2:

he held my hand five years ago and i felt unworthy

"... Quarry" is def. my favourite Moz solo album (out of the ones I've heard), and I post this song whenever there's a Morrissey thread (well, this is the second one I've seen)

The line "Your leg came to rest against mine / Then you lounged with knees up and apart..." reminds me of the sort of observation I'd have made when I was "romantic" or "infatuated" or whatever I was.

IMO Your Arsenal is the best Moz solo album so far. I remember it being a big surprise too coming after Kill Uncle, which was a letdown.

it was kind of hard to tell what were actually "proper albums" & just outtakes or b-sides compilations when i was first looking at solo moz because of how much more acclaimed every other album of his seems to be to the 2 or 3 supposed "duds" & whatnot like kill uncle & maladjusted (one of the most amateur looking covers i've ever seen btw looks like an actual fan-printed bootleg)

but ye, vauxhall & quarry are my favs. hang on to your friends, suedehead, & irish blood are up there with my favorite smiths songs among others

haven't really heard anything since ringleader though & i really only listened to that once, when it came out like 10 years ago
