were i to accept that clip without critically evaluating it, i would promote despotism. you can't believe everything you see on youtube, man, no matter how old it is. calling a flat tax despotic runs counter to libertarian beliefs. how could a party with liberty at the core of its name be despotic?

I think Libertarians believe in no taxes at all. So I'm not calling any libertarians despotic. Neither is the video. The video does NOT say that taxation weighted against the have-nots is despotic, rather it is merely a sign that despotism may develop in the future. Crucial difference.

How can people say freedom isn't free when free is at the core of its name?
