Anyway, telling someone on a message board to off themselves is even older than saying, "Go back to 4Chan!"

i was at one of my local stores tonight and for some reason they've started separating alternative/indie records with a metal/punk records even though there is a ridiculous amount of crossover and lots of records anyone could easily take from one section and put in the other. most of it aside from the classics are completely arbitrary decisions (probably based on distributor), as far as the punk section goes.

anyway, i thought to myself it had been a while since i actually flipped through the punk/metal stacks and i made it like 8 letters in until i was sick to death of seeing all of these reissues of fuzzyrose-esque bands i couldn't even finish.

there could have been something amazing in the r-t section but i would never know . i was just revealing way too much terrible music back to back to justify the random good records that didn't belong there. i think it was either seeing a dozen me first and the gimme gimmies or nofx records that did me in.

i think at best we could hope to turn fuzzyroes into a crustpunk. or a scumpunk would be p. coo.

Never bothered to seek them out so I'm not sure if I've heard them or not. Choking Victim sounds familiar though.

I'm mostly into poppier punk... Stuff like SNFU, Vandals, NOFX etc
