There are multiple ways to accomplish those goals. Pretty sure that purposefully pissing on Russia's face wouldn't be my high priority.

No, I'm just saying that Debaser's "that's what Bush said!" argument is silly because that's what everyone says.

yes, I'm pretty disappointed by it. I'd like to believe its a simple pander or a weak attempt to stay as "macho" as the repubs on this issue.

This is a very solid point, one that needs to be separated from the aerial hunting/kindergarten sex type bullshit and addressed.

Maybe they should be focusing on McCain? Attacking Palin hasnt done jack since she was announced, if anything shes gotten more popular. Honest question, but how many heads of state had Obama met before last months world tour? (<-- this is why it's a bad line of attack, Attacking Palins experience invites comparison to Obama.). He was a Senator, it's entirely possible he met...someone.

wow
long article about Palin's governing style.
she's even worse than I thought.

Times:
Once Elected, Palin Hired Friends and Lashed Foes

she kicked out the "good old boys" alright, but only to install her own "good old boys" system in its place. meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

-a small-minded person who populates her administration with cronies and grade-school friends, fires those who dare to criticize her and uses the power of her office to pursue personal vendetta.- Josh Marshall

But in 1995, Ms. Palin, then a city councilwoman, told colleagues that she had noticed the book “Daddy’s Roommate” on the shelves and that it did not belong there, according to Ms. Chase and Mr. Stein. Ms. Chase read the book, which helps children understand homosexuality, and said it was inoffensive; she suggested that Ms. Palin read it.

“Sarah said she didn’t need to read that stuff,” Ms. Chase said. “It was disturbing that someone would be willing to remove a book from the library and she didn’t even read it.”

“I’m still proud of Sarah,” she added, “but she scares the bejeebers out of me.”
Ms. Chase was Palin's campaign manager when she was running for mayor.

Current US policy supports Georgia in NATO. Germany blocked its inclusion earlier this year.

Obama supports Georgia in NATO.

I really don't understand why you'd attack Palin on this issue.

No, I believe my point was that every one of them surrounds themselves with people who are more well versed in specific areas than they are.

maybe I should fine a FOX News fact-check on Obama. Then again, FOX has been more neutral in this election than NBC has.

you're a broken record. bias source bias source bias source bias source.
Do you care about truth? Do you care about accuracy? These things are more important than perceived bias. Yet you call "bias" and then act like it doesn't matter whether what they say is true or not. You don't even attempt to tackle the issue. It's a dodge. A tactic that you have broken out in every other thread in this board.

Come to think of it, you don't even attempt to prove the bias claim either.

OBAMA'S IDEAS ARE GOOD ENOUGH TO STEAL
.... Now there's a proposal for transparency that everyone can agree with.

Sarah Palin likes to tell voters around the country about how she "put the government checkbook online" in Alaska. On Thursday, Palin suggested she would take that same proposal to Washington.

"We're going to do a few new things also," she said at a rally in Cedar Rapids. "For instance, as Alaska's governor, I put the government's checkbook online so that people can see where their money's going. We'll bring that kind of transparency, that responsibility, and accountability back. We're going to bring that back to D.C."

What a good idea. Why didn't someone think of that before?

Oh wait, someone did. His name is Barack Obama.

In 2006 and 2007, Obama teamed up with Republican Sen. Tom Coburn to pass the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act, also known as "Google for Government." The act created a free, searchable web site -- USASpending.gov -- that discloses to the public all federal grants, contracts, loans and insurance payments.

In June of this year, Obama and Coburn introduced new Senate legislation to expand the information available online to in.clude details on earmarks, competitive bidding, criminal activities, audit disputes and other government information.

According to Sarah Palin, one of Obama's ideas from 2006 qualifies as one of the "new things" she'll do in 2009.

I guess her Federal Government 101 cram sessions aren't going very well.

An NBC smear job on Palin, wait yes, and you're accusing me of the one who doesn't care about accuracy or truth.

The State of Alaska is publishing information from the statewide accounting system on the web. This is part of a national trend for governments to develop websites that allow constituents to view financial information in searchable formats. Such websites are widely considered to improve transparency into the financial operations of government.

Governor Palin supports this trend, and as a result, this website was created. It includes:

from alaska's division of finance. doesn't seem like it was her idea at all now, does it
