![]() Yeah I'm playing on PC
I don't have many saves because I've made a fresh start with a new character and only been doing quicksaves I figured out a workaround that works for me. Instead of having my character walking by default and holding Shift to run and Alt to sprint, I'll have my character always run by default, and bind sprint to Shift and hold Alt to walk. Since I only choose to walk when I'm sneaking or following a slow-ass expository character. |

![]() Hey Run2Me and redbreebull and anyone else whose name came up from a forum search for "skyrim"
How did you approach the Forsworn conspiracy quest line? Compared to Oblivion, I've had to refer to Wikis and videos much more often with Skyrim so I can get my head around all of the lore and politics, especially this quest line. I was sympathetic to the Forsworn pretty much the whole way through, but it seems like most players think that the native in jail is responsible for EVERYTHING, even the murders that make more sense to have been ordered by the oligarch who kept the native alive so that he could ruthlessly maintain his monopoly on his prison industrial complex. |

![]() Yeah it seems the developers want u to lump these forsworn in with the bandits. Or wolves even. Like they just run at u. In fact worse than bandits b/c at least bandits yell “that’s close enough” sometimes, to give u a chance to go around and avoid bloodshed.

![]() god the level of "you're either with us or against us" mentality of the characters is insane
the Blades have done almost nothing but send me on wild goose chases for information that amounted to little, except finally they uncover that there is a special word of power that I as the Dragonborn can use against the big bad end-boss Dragon, and they reluctantly agree that I should return to the mountain monks that they distrust to see if they can teach me, the monks are a bit perturbed that I want to disrupt the natural way of things or something, and don't know the word anyway, but then they allow me to take the issue higher up to their leader, who turns out to be a dragon. So this monk dragon doesn't know the word either but is pretty co-operative and sends me on a quest to find a macguffin required to discover the word of power, then once I've learned it, the big bad end-boss dragon appears, and the monk dragon and I battle him, the big bad dragon escapes, and the monk dragon gives me a quest to find where he fled to. So then I return to the blades to give them the news and they're all like "yeah this monk dragon used to be the big bad dragon's lieutenant, and even though he's defected and helped you more than anyone else to defeat the big bad dragon, you gotta kill him, because we're blindly obsessed with justice" well fuck you guys, you motherfuckers need Jesus |

![]() The skeletons in fallout 3 tell so many stories
Was just casually looting this morning thru this silent house, diseased brown sunlight streaming through boarded up windows, when got spooked by a couple of them in bed in an upstairs room, looked like they died holding onto each other.... Kinda moment make u go “oof.” You feel it in your stomach and suddenly you’re not just “playin games on the tv,” you’re feeling real emotions generated organically from your own reaction to this specific adventure you’re co-creating in a world of mystical human art/ingenuity Last edited by Run To Me : 04-09-2021 at 11:56 PM.
