Yeah damn right, it's the fact that it was all just partial clips, plus the fact that most of the band thought they were too good to give actual interviews for the people who are buying their album.

I listened to The Imploding Voice last night too. Shudder to think what else we might have in common. But for serious, what we don't have in common, is that I for one can't believe how amazing that song is. It really pounds your head in. Lots of subtleties for such a brutal song. Listen to those beautiful single note parts in the chorus, and that great hook. I don't know. And Jimmy is rockin'. And it's the goddamn Smashing Pumpkins, ya know? It's a beautiful thing.

i like Machina, MSOTS, and TFE all as individual albums in their own way.

people need to stop comparing them, and the critics especially need to stop comparing them. they all sound completely different. that is what Corgan's music is all about.
