Is pitchfork still relevant?
Do you still read the site, do you listen to music favored by the site, do you still use it to discover new music, or has the blog gone down the tubes?

No this hugely successful taste making website that runs a hugely successful international music festival is not relevant

I've never been a regular reader of the site but there have been more than a few acts I have been made aware of by people who do/did read the site.
So, I dunno. I responded to this dumb thread so what do I know? |

It's a really stupid part of his stupid post considering they cover and give favorable reviews to every genre of music
I mean I shouldn't comment because I'm probably still associated with this site even though I stopped regularly reading years ago Now I mostly only read highlights of particularly terribly written reviews that get linked and I still read the column by the guy who covers extreme metal |

I read it amongst others. Their 'Best new Music' is usually a 20/80 hit/miss for me, and that's pretty good. TMT eureka has a better 50/50 hit/miss ratio, but they seem pickier...
something curious about PF BNM is how they often come in waves. |
