Question Who exactly are our presidential candidates in 2016?

Hilary or Biden for the Democrats? Ted Cruz or Rand Paul for Republicans?

I wont be voting for any of them, so it doesn't matter.

As long as we're getting ok with fat people becoming president again, I think Bill Richardson still has a decent shot.

It's hard to say at this point though. I want to say that only people with name recognition on a national level would be good, but barely anybody knew who Obama was before Iowa.

Bernie Sanders should run, but he won't. He would fizzle faster than Gravel did. Liz Warren should wait another 4-8 years, but she would almost certainly make it to the final round.

well he didn't survive the VP vetting, and he had to step down from being a prospective secretary of commerce because of scandals.. i'd say his national prospects are kinda over. usually when you do a bunch of tv shows in the twilight of your career that's a sign they've called it a day.

well to be fair only one person ever survives VP vetting. I guess I underestimated those corruption allegations. Even if no conviction ever came of it, you have to be squeaky clean to get to the top.

A long-in-the-tooth socialist is exactly what we'd need actually. It would trump the stereotype that socialists are young and naive. Sanders however wouldn't make it very far because of his caustic tone and overall squirreliness.

Dickhead O'Malley, governor of MD will run. Surprised no one has mentioned him yet, he's like the darling of establishment democrats and he has a better chance than Bill Richardson. Chris Christie will still run unless people still remember bridgegate

and he's like super old

i was talking "young" as in "young for politics" e.g. liz warren

i do not think anyone should be elected if they will hit 70 during their first term

People will remember bridgegate, for sure, but so many other scandals will have made their way to the forefront of their consciousness that it will seem minute.

alright yeah. definitely. you know i take my earlier post back. she should totally run against hillary because hillary has way more baggage than warren, and i actually think warren has far more integrity, and she's not into petty politicking and probably won't succumb to games. her past is squeaky clean save for that bullshit about her native american bloodline.

she developed the CFPB, which, in theory, is probably one of the best ideas for a federal agency in the past 50 years, and justification for its existence is bulletproof.

but the cia will never let her be president, unfortunately.

my problem with her and hillary is they might get to emotional. i'd rather ben nelson have conrol over the red button while they work on planned parenthood or whatever

nah i think liz is more useful in the senate right now. not saying she doesnt have a chance but i don't know how she'd pan out in the mid west .. you could argue a presidential campaign could put her out there for future elections but it could also backfire.. probably best just to keep her where she is for alot of reasons

that may be the case, but she'd be more useful in the white house than any of the other schleps that will step up to the plate.
