Why is Starbucks so cool ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
Hey guys it's just me with my manicured nails and skinny jeans and I'm getting a vanilla bean frappe at Starbucks. It's ice cubes, cow milk, and vanilla syrup haha and whip please of course

(((Bird up: I don't think there's anything wrong with drinking coffee, but does anyone actually drink coffee at Starbucks? What's the appeal of it exactly? I enjoy coffee but I buy what I like and enjoy it at home, where the caffeine will make me poop and I can poop at home)

i want to know why fucking capitalism keeps telling us its BETTER that there's the same mass produced coffee store on every corner instead of an independent locally owned shop

Now I'll review coffee makers I have used:
Bunn automatic: tastes like a gas station or diner. Turns any good bean into a standard one. Fine for the surroundings. http://www.webstaurantstore.com/bunn...129500293.html out of machines, I think zojirushi make decent ones. Chemex or any other pour over: brand honestly doesn't matter. The chemex is cool and it was a cool gift but it's really hard to clean so I don't clean it. Pour over coffee should be a lot like machine drip but I'm convinced that though it's only for a short period of time, exposure to materials non-inert impart a certain taste. French press: this is a good taste at first but not forever because it gets progressively stronger even though it's pressed. Also oily and I hear that stuff isn't good for you. Moka pot: the taste of europ. Turkish coffee: real talk but I've never made this. I would drink this with avram's mom often. Good stuff with some sweets but an acquired taste that I had no problem acquiring |

Besides the coffee murder, everyone just gets milkshakes at Starbucks and it's a status symbol rather than something cravable or quality. I don't understand.

I had my first Starbucks coffee in 1999 in Wellington. I ordered a long black and it came in a mug, a watery bitter abomination. In protest, I drank half and then left my cigarette butt floating in the rest.
True story. |

So it's a gimmick but a good one. The nitro cold brew they have in their fancier shops is really interesting and delicious. I've now made trips to Starbucks especially for it two of the last three Saturday mornings. Their regular cold brew is also good but not any better than Dunkin' Donuts or anything. I don't often drink hot coffee.
