He won't bite, though. If the Niners fire him, Harbaugh will more likely find another NFL gig (I'm guessing another west coast team, maybe the Raiders).
I do not understand this at all. How does a coach who revived a franchise and then took them to two NFC championship games and a superbowl get 'on the hot seat'. Really? It baffles me.

Have to say the same thing every year, especially as ESPN keeps ramping up conference tribalism to boost their ratings, but... again...

The correct thing to say is that several Pac-12 teams are not looking as good as they were supposed to. Conference strength is meaningless. What matters is the SOS of individual teams.

Which is tied directly to the strength of the conference in every case except BYU and Notre Dame.

And "strength of the conference" is meaningless.

No it's not. The big ten sucks. Which is relevant to how to evaluate the teams in it.

I don't know why you're so weird about this. Every big ten team has proven to be shit. They all play each other and will continue to be shit. A loss in the big ten is not comparable to a loss in the SEC West.

The SOS of individual teams is all that matters. It doesn't matter if Penn State plays in the same conference as Wisconsin, Purdue, Minnesota and Iowa if they don't actually play each other.

Talent comes from the southeast and Texas and California. All the big ten has is ohio. Not everyone can recruit nationally.

Big game tomorrow. Gonna miss most of it for a wedding. Same thing happened in 2012 and that worked out ok. So.

Who in their right mind ranks Florida St as the number one team in the country?

Undefeated teams which should be ranked higher than Florida State:

Mississippi State
Ole Miss
Baylor
Notre Dame
Arizona

Definitely not Arizona and after yesterday probably not Notre dame. I expect a good game next week. And most of the country will probably be rooting for ND, which is a nice change of pace. Hoping the defense just got caught looking ahead.

Miss state should be the clear #1, even though the A&M and lsu wins don't look that awesome now.
