I dunno man, erryone is mocking his new vocal style, but I think it's alright. Let's be honest here, his vocals weren't always perfect, it was all about the idiosyncrasies of his style that made the songs, rather than pure technique. I've always thought he had one of the more unique and unusual voices in rock.

And I love Quasar. It's in my top ten to fifteen for sure.

Song titles are horrible but I like the cover and im encouraged by the fact there's only 9 songs. Could be a result of strict quality control.

I want to hear what SP sounds like with a seasoned pro back on drums.
Also; notice Billy isn't touring this year to support the release? Interested to see how that goes. |

probably not... as for touring: Oceania came out June? they started touring after weeks of giving interviews, Australia summer 2012. album release is December, I'd guess either January, or they have a deal to tour both albums at once. On second thought, they'd need to find a drummer and bassist first... |

It's going to be really interesting reading the blog after actually hearing the songs.

what is Anais supposed to even mean? I didn't attempt to get thru many of his ramblings on the Nexus so I'm left in the dark on a lot of things.

Is it wrong to say that SP cover artwork has always ranged from who cares to pretty ugly?

Yeah I'll be honest, none of SP's album covers really appeal to me.
SD is summery and cherubic but it still looks kind of cheap and dated |

There's no SP artwork where I'm like "That's cool as fuck let me put that on a T-Shirt".
Which has always been a problem because I've never found an SP band shirt that I like. I wore the Zero shirt to the shows that I went to though. |

adore is one of the best...packaged albums i've ever seen
at least from the 90s machina's not too bad itself, though my own personal version of the album cover etc. was quite a bit different before i was acquainted with the actual thing i could understand the argument of the covers in general being more "iconic" then they were "cool as fuck" or whatever but, and no pun intended (argh,) i wouldn't change a thing Last edited by Mals Marola : 10-15-2014 at 03:25 AM. |

Haha, that's a pretty good metric.
I want to make a tshirt of MBV's You Made Me Realise EP with a Che Guevara effect. |

I have the one with the red star and SD logo font. It's the only one that doesn't suck, really.

I had the SP heart shirt but then people would point to my shirt and be like "Scott Pilgrim yeahh!"
And I was like who the fuck is Scott Pilgrim And then I looked it up and watched that movie and then threw away the shirt |

I like the Gish, Siamese, Mellon and Adore artwork. Machina is ok and I don't see anything wrong with Oceania's cover. But Zeitgeist is terrible. I hate everything about that album. Fuck that shit.
>I had the SP heart shirt but then people would point to my shirt and be like "Scott Pilgrim yeahh!" Same thing happened to me but that movie is kinda funny. |

All of the SP covers have been weird to me, but then they grow on me.
As far as a T shirt i would actually wear, and I'm really not a band shirt guy, I like this one, maybe because it's an official logo, but unknown to the casual fan. http://www.crestfallen.com/wp-conten...handTshirt.jpg |
