I used to hate GATGC but I fall down with the 2007 SP2 tour version. It is just perfect!

Just listened right now to the album version and the song is ok... anyway is pretty nice how it sounds so updated even being 10 years old already.

The interlude is epic!

Another cool version (acoustic 1999). Here you can see how the song's essence sounds good:

The 2007 tour edition version is fantastic. I really like this song, annoying interlude and all.

The second half of the song is quite nice with the dreamy sounding guitars and the kind of hypnotizing "as they crawled up inside her" parts repeated

the first part of the song is awesome, as good as anything on machina, with really nice lead guitar. second part is okay, the sizzling synth is a little distracting. from what i recall, on the arising tour the song was performed as two separate pieces, albeit one after another. whether billy had intended to glue them together at that stage is unclear. i actually have grown to hate the spoken interlude a lot less to the extent it actually doesn't bug me any more.

Billy went from "I never really liked sunny days" to "i always assume that the voice i hear is the voice of god." Remember when his spoken word parts on songs were things you could relate to and identify with?

NP: machina. things are coming back to me, i still keep hearing ˙ou're a lobotomy now, just like 9 years ago. Which is probably incorrect.
