Funny how Billy used to play his own distinctive style of acoustic guitar up until around 2009, when he caught the "MUST STRUM WITH MAXIMUM POWER AT ALL TIMES LIKE DYLAN" bug.
All these new songs sound the same. Just STRUM STRUM STRUM with some awkward poetry about being in the civil war or some shit (I literally have no idea what he's singing). |

is it too much to ask for something like soothe or stumbeleine.
rotten apples etc. I'm fine with him pursuing this and not wanting the songs to sound like SP, but there's no hooks and the guitar playing isn't interesting enough to keep my attention. |
