Of course not.

I'm not talking about the efficiency of beatings as a 'punishment' - I'm just saying that hitting your girlfriend is about the lowest thing a man can do in a relationship and that there are other ways to let your girl know when you're pissed.

Why is it wrong? I know it is, and i would never do it, but why is it wrong? Is it because women are supposed to be weak? but isnt that kind of sexist? Is it just as wrong for a girl to hit a guy?

This is kind of relevant to me because one of my friends hit his girlfriend a few times.
