NFL PLAYOFFS
AFC
WILD CARD WEEKEND 5. Jacksonville Jaguars (11-5) at 4. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-6), 8 p.m. ET (NBC) 6. Tennessee Titans (10-6) at 3. San Diego Chargers (11-5), 4:30 p.m. ET (CBS) 1. New England Patriots (16-0) and 2. Indianapolis Colts (13-2) have first-round byes. NFC WILD CARD WEEKEND 6. Washington Redskins (9-7) at 3. Seattle Seahawks (10-6) 5. New York Giants (10-6) at 4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-7) 1. Dallas Cowboys (13-3) and 2. Green Bay Packers (13-3) have first-round byes. I truly believe that if the Packers get to the NFC Championship there is no way Brett Favre is going to lose, setting up either a Colts-Packers or Patriots-Packers Super Bowl. Thoughts? Your thoughts? |

I can't see the Pats losing.
I'm pulling for Pitt and Dallas....but Jacksonville scares me a little. not to mention indy and new england. Green Bay does not scare me at all. |

i think indy is capable of beating the pats. i just want to see that smirk wiped off brady's face. i hate the steelers as i am a bengals fan. i think they'll have a tough time with jacksonville, especially without parker. dallas has been pretty average lately, so i think the NFC has kind of opened up.

I'm picking the Jags, Redskins, Bucs, and Chargers for next weekend.
As a Green Bay fan, I'm torn because even though I'm scared of New England, I kind of want a rematch of the '97 Super Bowl. |

I'm a huge Steelers fan, so I obviously want them to win, but I do think they are going to have a really tough time facing every team they'll play.
I'd like Green Bay to get to the Super Bowl out of the NFC. |

I would love to see a Packers-Patriots Super Bowl. That way, I'd be happy with either outcome.

i'm a huge green bay fan, and while i would love to play the patriots in the super bowl, i am sick of both the pats and the colts. its going to be gb-jax with the pack winning.

Seattle will only win if Shaun Alexander starts to get good again, although I don't know how long tis Todd Collins guy can play decently for.
I'm excited about the Jags, they've always been a team that I rooted for somewhat. I hope they win it all. Hopefully Garcia can knock out The Giants like he usually does. |

Dallas is my homebody NFC pick (honestly not too far fetched)
I'm pulling for Jacksonville but that road goes through likely Indy and then New England. |

the only team i see capable of beating the pats in the afc is the chargers because of lt's capability. i think dwight freeney being out is going to have a huge affect on the pats vs. colts, if they play each other. perhaps the boys could give the pats a run for the money in the super bowl, but i dont see any other team really giving them a hard time, definitely not the packers.
pats win it all! |

Romo has stunk it up without T.O.
He needs to prove he can play without a HOF WR before we talk about winning playoff games. |

The next game they play will have TO and Terry Glenn for the first time this season. Gonna be bad fucking news for the secondary of whoever they play.

If the Bucs can get to Eli early and often he will collapse like a house of cards. With all the injuries I'd be really happy if the Bucs could just win their first game...anything more would be cherry.

Despite my almost constant stance of rooting for the underdog and despising everything that has anything to do with Boston, I'm actually hoping to see the Patriots pull off this perfect season. Even with all the reasons the media has given us to hate them, I still have respect for the players (except Moss, he's still a dipshit), and even the coach. I've always respected guys like Brady and Bruschi (wish the fuckin' Eagles had 'em), and I don't think much of the whole "spygate" BS...like performance-enhancing drug use in baseball, I feel that this video spying practice was pretty commonplace in the NFL 'til the Pats got busted.

go Niners!!!
:/ how is it when the S.F. is theeeee worst team in the league we still don't manage the No. 1 pick. they can't even suck properly. nor fire their head coach fully, just half-way, sort of...god it's pathetic and the only reason I post in this thread is because the Pat's will probably win the Super Bowl (not like they don't know how already) and ALSO get the 49ers 1st round pick. I think 7th overall this year. |
