Isn't there any better place to upload stuff than the Zomb? I've probably made a hundred accounts over the years. I mean, it's one download and banned because you can never seed it back.

SPLRA needs to be updated to say that PRO #1d now circulates. Who can do that?

I moved it to "surfaced recordings".
Length and notes may need an update still. |

Length is exactly 70 minutes, right down to the second.

The SPFreaks listing also needs updating. Despite what the box indicates, this VHS is NTSC, not PAL.

It looks like PRO #1d is actually a muddle of information on two tapes.
There are two 2000-05-23 tapes, one that is Age of Innocence -> Rock On [Cut] which is 70 minutes. This has just been released. And then there is this tape: http://www.spfreaks.com/?page=COLLDETAILS&item=1512 Track listing unknown, but runs at 85 minutes. Do we need a PRO #1e? |

Thank you.
Should we update SPLRA about other recent releases too? I don't think they're listed. http://www.splra.org/wiki/index.php?title=Tsp1993-06-22 http://www.splra.org/wiki/index.php?title=Tsp1998-05-23 http://www.splra.org/wiki/index.php?title=Tsp2000-01-17 |

i think redbull is the best person to add those.
i could give it a try, but to be honest, listing the different recordings on splra.org isn't really my thing. i'm never sure how to do it correctly. if i made a mistake or was incomplete with this 200-05-23 one, by the way, please correct it. |

I'll PM redbull. 2000-05-23 looks correct to me, but it does have a different max of camera footage, so it might be wrong.

one question for the leet a/v bros: what is the ideal deinterlace mode for this sort of thing? |

The *ideal* way to watch interlaced material is to watch it on a TV that can actually used an interlaced modeline. This will be artefact free. e.g. burn it to a DVD. Deinterlacers are a best effort attempt to replicate the image seen on a TV. Due to the way interlacing works, deinterlacing will never really be perfect. That said some deinterlacers do a really good job. If you have a dedicated GPU then the best algorithms can be used, e.g. an NVIDIA GPU. If you have one then you may be able to unload the deinterlacing to the GPU. The GPU will have better, more complex, intensive algorithms available to it, as GPUs have a better architecture for this variety of problem. If you can't do that, then *generally* yadif provides the best, but it may vary video to video. |
