They were playing a small festival type thing here called Middle of the Map in 2011 I think and they were playinga small club about the same time they had we are young on some car commercial and even though it was way over capacity, they crammed people in and it was really hot and uncomfortable but awesome. Anyway, I kinda wish they would have brought Janelle out being in KC and all but no luck.

i think i did confess my appreciation of the gin blossoms as an REM-esque band with bad timing in another thread a while back, but yeah that entire cruise was a punchline no matter what happened. i was sad to see the joke end so soon.
