Exclamation Gary Numan

For a while, I only had Pleasure Principle but I am really digging some of his other stuff.

Anyone else a fan?

His robot era is all golden, and the last two albums rule.
He’s truly a surprisingly good artist. I can’t believe the latest one got to #2 in the UK.

I like Cars but don't particularly enjoy much else.

Replicas with Tubeway Army is top shelf. I'd call that through Telekon fantastic and then the albums up to I, Assassin pretty good. Gets average to absolute crap until Sacrifice in 1994, when he began exhibiting NIN influences. It's been fair to pretty good on the whole since, I think I remember Pure in 2000 being particularly good.

I like Pleasure Principle and Dance, personally. They're all good. The 90s albums are good but 2000 on is kinda wack imo.

Wellllll...I don't know about that. That late 80's-Early 90's period is fucking sketchy (The man is outright embarrassed by Machine + Soul) but there's some good stuff buried in there under many uncomfortable layers of saxophone. "Time To Die" comes to mind.

For new stuff, Dead Sun Rising's title track really, really gets me for some reason.

He writes some good songs. But I find his 21 century image/atmosphere wearisome.

My collection is Tubeway Army, Pleasure Principle, Replicas, and Telekon. Those four are classics, in my opinion, but I haven't really listened to much of his stuff beyond those.

It isn't by him. It is influenced by him though.
