I wonder if Green Bay will still retire his jersey before their first home game this season or whatever it is they had planned.

So I haven't really been following this... what's the deal? First he was going to Green Bay, then he wasn't, then he was, now he's going to NY...

FUCK YOU FARVE!

The Jets were going in the right direction until they made this brilliant desicion. Fuck you Mangini, and I hope Farve breaks his knee in training camp.

Sweet, I get to see the Bills beat down Favre and have him throw a pick for a win.

Dear God, what a baby. GO! AWAY!

So let me get this straight...you think the "right direction" for the Jets would have been to stick with either Chad Pennington, who hasn't been a good QB in five years, or Kellen Clemens, who looked okay at best last season? Bitch, PLEASE.

I'm not saying that this is a brilliant trade or anything, but if I'm a Jets fan, I'd rather see Favre out there than either of those two clowns, even if it is only for a couple seasons. They run a version of the West Coast offense in NY, so it's not like Favre will be thrown into a system that's unlike anything he's ever played in before.

If nothing else, it will give Clemens time to develop as a #2 guy, and maybe take the starting job in a couple seasons. This could potentially work out great for the Jets...as long as Favre can cope with facing the secondaries of the AFC on a regular basis.

Correct me if I'm wrong (seriously), but I would imagine having such an experienced QB would be beneficial to Clemens in the long run as well.
