It lacks flow a little, and the synths shouldn't be quite so omnipresent, but I like this one a hell of a lot more than Aeronaut. Much more subdued than the live versions and while I think it's better for that, it really feels like an album closer rather than a "track 3".

Well, it's not terrible. One of his better post-original band songs. I just wish he didn't restrict himself to an "acoustic" album. I wouldn't mind some minimal beats or something. The synths are a nice addition. But I do kinda wish the album wasn't entirely beatless.

Listen to it without the video. I don't hate whatever they're going for there - though I do feel like I just watched one of those trailers that shows the whole movie - but it's just such a distraction.

i want to like this but it sounds like he's singing gibberish and the verse melody is not compelling enough to make that irrelevant. song can't rest on only the chorus, which ultimately makes this a failure

Cool song, love the double-tracked vox on the chorus, live version was slightly better but w/e. Not nearly as good as Aeronaut.

I figured the song would lose its live bombast once it was on BC's solo album. Bet he wants to save the SHREDDING for the SP name.
Doesn't matter much to me, I like both forms. |

Well this did it, I was gonna give the album a chance but this is the worst fucking song by anybody I've heard in a long time, and I've heard "Aeronaut"
