dude exercise some self-control

the only Pere Ubu records worth over $30 would be the first pressings of both Dub Housing and Modern Dance (only on the Blank label), along with early 7" pressings on the Hearthen label.

you could probably have picked up that LP for much cheaper if you had have waited. BE VERY WARY of online vinyl traders -it is an extremely flawed market.

yeah, that was an impulse buy from a record store - i just checked ebay and it can be had for almost half of what i paid. buying online just isn't as fun, though.

I originally only went to my local record store to see if they had an Ólafur Arnalds album I was really tempted to order online from Germany (they didn't) but I did find some good stuff anyway:

Neil Young with Crazy Horse - Everybody Knows This is Nowhere
Neil Young - Harvest (replacement)
The Beatles - The Beatles (stereo)
Elizabeth Cotten - When I'm Gone
Arcade Fire - Funeral
Derek and The Dominoes - Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs
Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine
Sly and the Family Stone - Greatest Hits

The Beatles album is in unbelievably good condition - no ring wear, pretty much everything looks brand new. For $20 I couldn't pass it up. They had a bunch of other used stuff I tempted to get but decided to actually stay under my $75 limit, damn it.

some old NZ 7 inches on the Crawlspace label. Pretty awesome considering these are basically non-existent over here. Thank you, online music marketplaces.
