I also picked up a metal longbox for $1. Been looking for one for a while. Here you can see all the cigarettes I smoked listening to these 45s as well.

The rags and paper towels are from cleaning the records. Some were pretty dirty (but had for cheap).

It's a vain pursuit you know, the acquisition of material things. When you'll die nobody will give a shit about these and will probably throw them out in the garbage. Also, you could obviously have listened to these all on youtube! (I bet you feel pretty stupid now)

Anyway it's pretty badass/cool that you smoked all these while listening to those records, it gets you that much closer to lung cancer. Grats.

This is why I posted youtube links. Anyone viewing can make their own playlist. It's a modern mixtape format, but I realize that nobody on this forum actually enjoys listening to mixtapes or exploring other genres of music.

D - if you really want to - you can merge this thread with the "depressing music playlist" thread.

After that, you can suck on it.

Untrue! This forum needs more mixtape/playlist threads.
(by "this forum" I mean me.)

we used to do mixtape exchanges but nobody actually listened to the mixes that they got. for one, they were mostly garbage and for two, those involved just wanted an excuse to slap their favorite mp3s onto a cdr.

i've been involved in mix swaps on several sites. the general rule is that everybody involved gets everybody's mixes. it's not a secret santa deal like we do here.

Today I brought home one of the more rare shangri-las singles only to find it had a hairline crack in it. I got a quarter way thru the bin and pulled about 5 great singles.

Bummed about the one though - it would have been the winner
