I was thinking about this... Pisces probably makes a better "catch all" than Siamese or Gish. So you can put a lot more obscure things on Pisces than any other place and it'll feel more at home. You also have your big Siamese fans who will buy the re-issue album and hear the bonus songs and go "hey this is pretty good I think I'll buy Pisces now" which leads to another sale.

I actually love PI more than either, because since it was just random outtakes from the albums, the songs don't seem as self-conscious. It's the sound of just this band making songs, rather than a band trying to make an epic album, you know what I mean? It feels like those songs have much more character. That's why Corgan had said the b-sides are more representative of the band than the albums.

I imagine Hippy Trippy is a demo of crush; but ok, the other two may be complete new shit.

I mean, count me among the "never satisfied fan" if you want, but I couldn't give a good goddamn about demos. But I mean I figured it'd be stuff more for casual/90's fan, where you get different versions of already known songs.

It's just, when we hear billy go on about "boxes of unheard music" and how they were one of the most prolific bands, etc. And we get piles of demo versions.
