If this really happened (and I don't really have a reason to doubt it), it is probably the best proof that Mike DOESN'T read Netphoria.

I am not sure what proof you need? It says they slept and jon monte's house on the bearcubbin blog. Therefore Mike slept at his house.

it isn't that it's unbelievable. it's that no matter how little regard one has for Mike, the thought of a member of SP sleeping on Monte's couch is horrifying.

Got to the venue early and started to get scarred. The area was sketch but the crew at Eli’s was super helpful. The crowd was small but it was awesome to see Reptilian Shape Shifters again and see them play. Totally boned the loop in the New one, but powered through. Loaded up our gear under the watchful eye of a dude ready to jack us and thanked the Shape Shifters for killing it with the show and playing. An awesome dude named John Monte put us up in his apartment and gave us breakfast burritos in the morning. Totally fucking awesome show and on to Santa Rosa in the morning.

I don't think the blog is written by that new drummer of SP.

I doubt he slept on Monte's couch. Almost certainly they had a 3-some with booze, weed, and cocaine.

Well I don't pay any attention to the blog world, so I have absolutely zero first-hand knowledge of whose blog really says what, or if they're really that person in question as opposed to some parody impostor, etc. etc. I'm taking the word of whoever posted it.

Also - I said what I did because if Mike read Netphoria, I'd assume that perhaps he'd have a different view of Monte and would think twice about staying at his house?
