the assassins (opening for zwan)
rock.
i'm way excited that the assassins are opening on wednesdays zwan show, but i don't know how well most of the audience will like them. did anyone happen to catch them at schubas on thursday? and what does anyone know about the other opening bands? |

Somebody please, kidnap Brian Mcmahan and get him to call Britt Walford to "play some drums on a few tracks...at the metro in chicago on the 23rd". He'll so go. After that, there will obviously be some cohersion neccesary involving locking the four of them in a room, but i'm sure within the hour somebody in the crowd will start clapping really slow and then faster, and then more people will join in and within moments they will be treated to an impromptu version of Rhoda. Buckler knows that shit.

I saw Dead Meadow open for the Super Furries. It's cool for a song or two, but they get stale pretty quickly.
