So she sat through the entire setlist of Manson and then after 2 Pumpkins songs, left and said the Pumpkins concert was the worst one?

Hmm, that seems odd.

I've got a soft spot for Bill Sr.

He's like Marty Crane but plays guitar! Billy Jr hasn't been speaking to him because he didn't show interest in AuggieJup iirc

"look we are totally nice people who concentrate on our family, or as Linda promoted it - SOBER AND CALM - never mind that my friend Mancow just yesterday had fun with GUESS THIS BATTERED WOMAN. Really I am a nice social guy, not a sociopath."

that is one longass hashtag

I'll be the first to say, I'm preparing to be disappointed. However, I think putting James and Jeff together creates a great, past-meets-present kind of mix that MIGHT mean good things for the future (or what's already been recorded). Anything with Jimmy has a level of quality to it, so that's a positive. And given all the negativity that D'arcy is spewing, good riddance...she would have torn the band apart on tour. Ginger should fill the role as touring bassist.

At this point, the Pumpkins are essentially like The Cure: Billy and whoever else he decides is in the band. I think the future of the Pumpkins is BC surrounding himself with a musical collective of all those who have contributed to the band since 2000, focus on creating quality music (lyrics included), and let someone else handle the production.

Of course, some, most, or all of that will probably never happen.

I am very surprised at the ambitious venues chosen for this tour. Madison Square Garden has a capacity of 20,789.

We've had 11 years of evidence that that's a bad thing, though.

The new video only has 40,000 views, or a little more than one thousand per show on the tour.

I'm actually pretty excited for the tour. I think it's gonna be a success...

Just think about it, We had Billy Corgan running out the scrap heap with no financial backing for the past 7 years and everyone thought it sucked.... Now Live Nation is backing the production and we have Billy, Jimmy and James. I think it's gonna be the best showing from the band since the heyday... There's a lot riding on this so you know they'll be playing their hearts out.

Mass Netphoria meet up at the first gig in Arizona?
