Cats make sure to find the most annoying thing to play with in the morning, like that one plastic bag you forgot to put away or that toy that makes a squeak. Cats are morning people, but I am not

Wall cat now sneaks into the house and meows at the foot of the stairs asking for food in the mornings.

She's getting too comfortable.

Yeah I've been putting off the professional one b/c so expensive, just been going thru over-the-counter ones I end up biting thru after a couple months

Oh and lol @ dental dam yeah I saw that and thought of the Kenny Powers show where he explain it to the barflooze "it's like a condom ... for yer mouth"

Is a "dental dam" really a fetish thing? Seems like normal protection for cunnilingus.

I mean, maybe not using them the way the person in R2M's picture is using them, but placing a protective barrier between the mouth and genitals to prevent the spread of herpes doesn't seem like anything that freaky or unconventional.

Admittedly, there seems to be something decidedly unsexy about telling her you're about to take a stroll through her garden and then going all, "but hold on a second" as you carefully place a square of clinical latex on her groin, but safety first.

Any cubers here?

I've recently been playing around with the Rubik's Revenge (the 4x4x4 Rubik's Cube). I'm finding it a lot harder than the 3x3x3, because the centers don't stay stationary relative to each other, and you have to build them in the exact right arrangement or else you won't be able to solve the cube. I can remember which sides are parallel to each other, but beyond that, I haven't got the facets memorized.

After doing that and some other stuff, I can collapse it down to a formation where I can just treat it like the 3x3x3, but even then, there's a chance that I'll stumble across a parity, and those just fuck your shit up. I can never fix that part without having to go online to look up the algorithm.

a dental dam is used by dentists when making or removing amalgam fillings, to avoid exposing the mouth to mercury

Dental dams are also used by dentists when eating people out.

Usually not in their capacity as dentists, mind you.

Never have I ever even once finally solved a cube, always just fiddle for a bit, get pist, then put it down. That's cool that you can do it tho, can't imagine it in 4D

Well, I mean, a 4x4x4 cube is just as 3D as a 3x3x3 cube. Doesn't have extra dimensions, just more pieces.

An actual Rubik's Tesseract would be insane. Of course we couldn't build one physically, but I'm sure one could model it on the computer using some projection system. I don't think that I'd be able to wrap my head around that one, though.

I think I've finally internalized the solving method for the Rubik's Revenge so that I don't have to look up the last few algorithms on the internet each time anymore. But it still takes me forever, and if I make a mistake and don't know what I did and how to reverse it, I kinda have to start all over again.

I have more twisty puzzles coming in the mail. The Professor's Cube (5x5x5), Mirror Cubes, these house-shaped cubes, and the most difficult of all, the dreaded 1x1x1 Rubik's Cube.
