Talking Billy Corgan posted some shit once again

Quote:
"There is a thought in the physics of vibrational consciousness that you attract that which you fear the most. Are you able to recognize what you vibrate dissonantly to, and therefore, thru reverse engineering, identify what your real fears are? I like to tell people who come to me for help that it is OK to be afraid. Being afraid is rarely the problem. What is usually the problem has plenty to do with what we are most afraid to admit we are afraid of. As they say, “Denial is not a river in Egypt!” Every problem in the Universe can be traced back to one problem alone: inner shame because of our decision to be separate from God."
What a douche.

Fuck this wanker. Everything that comes out of his mouth now is either whining, a lie / soon-to-be-broken promise, or some statement regarding philosophy or physics that is completely and utterly wrong.

Mo, don't you like art or music? Grey areas? Transitions? In-between places (like airports)?

What does that have to do with anything? I just don't like stupid nonsense like Every problem in the Universe can be traced back to one problem alone: inner shame because of our decision to be separate from God.

That's it.

the idea of original sin is hardly mind-blowing or new or even radical. just sayin.

edit: in fact, i find corgan's writings and views on spirituality to be pretty conservative if you ask me.

that's not really original sin, but that's another story.

he has this weird mix of born-again new age Christianity and almost a Scientology-like belief in removing "negative" influences.

no, of course not. It's more a belief (in Scientology at least) that negative people will literally negatively affect your life, and make your scientology powers weaker. It's a clever way to coerce people to get rid of anyone in their lives who doesn't follow the church.

Man, someone dig up that video of Tom Cruise where he talks about seeing the car accident and knowing only he could have helped that person. Bizarre.

i don't think its too far of a stretch to say that if i allow negative people/things into my life, they will have a negative impact on me, thus making me "weaker".
