Unfortunately, I think you are right.

billy corgan should have no communication with his fans. live your life and release whatever whenever you want to do it.

It was Jesse Ignjatovic, MTV exec. By no means "a teenager with a camcoder".

I'm tired of waiting for Billy to keep some promises, any, if even.

As Redbull's list earlier proved, there's been far too many teases and not enough follow-up.

They didn't sue Billy, his stake in any profits was already set going in.

yeah i was quite annoyed to read bc say sth like there was more ignoffo stuff we haven't heard right after saying he wasn't gonna bother releasing it cuz ppl were being negative or sth. boo fucking hoo. seriously when did "ppl being negative" become a good enough reason for bc to not do sth? bc has attracted negative attn probably before ever having picked up a guitar. so in other words it sounds like like a load of bs. but i dunno anymore what is really going on in this dude's head

Unfortunately as fans we have to deal with Billy's inadequacies. I'm okay with that, but it's very sad when an artist like Billy relies on pissing off fans just to feed his ego. Like he expects us to sit here since Halloween waiting for what he promised a month ago. What an asshat, and the last tour, damn him for making me sit thru an hour's worth of noise.

i'm trying to logically put post-07 pumpkins together in my head:

1. billy wants his band, songs and dreams back (on the day his solo album drops).
2. 2 years later we get a new "tsp" album.
3. goes on tour for that album but drops the number of new album songs to about 2.
4. does another tour encompassing 20 years of tsp and bitches about having to play old songs but plays pretty much nothing but old songs.
5. starts new album project and sez that tsp is done playing old songs.

so i'm thinking -> couldn't we have just skipped steps 1-4? was the process that got us to step 5 really that necessary? was step 4 really as big of a cash-grab as it seems?
