Wrong.... Weezer's been headlining all of the big festivals. Nickelback got pelted with rocks the one time they played a big festival bill Here they are playing to hundreds of thousands of people in Mexico

And unlike the Pumpkins, they still rock live. Check out this epic Black Sabbath cover

Weezer has become a cheap cover band. The Pumpkins are still defeating original values.

Wow.

Fuzzy just defended Weezer’s level of coolness by talking about how many people they play in front of.

Wow.

Talking

I'm trying to decide if the low point of this thread was Weezer covering Sabbath or JohnCG lying about being on Grinder.

The best Billy can hope to still achieve at this point is nostalgic dad rock and he'd be fine at it if he'd stop dressing like a clown for anything band related, STFU about wrestling, and stay away from social media. Also, he needs to release the Siddartha remaster/ultimate edition already. I need hi def vinyl of the rumored Monte web cam wet fart mix. Billy has said it's right up there with the final Metro show and Chicago Kid project in terms of potential hit money makers he's got sitting in his can.

I don’t need Grindr. I just masturbate to pictures of Jack Bates.

I never see them being booked by the marquee festivals like Rock Am Ring, Rock in The Park, Big Day Out ETC

They're a beloved band. They've stood the test of time in ways that few 90's band were able to. It's why they're playing stadiums with Green Day in 2020

I thought it was pretty solid in an oddball let the guitarist sing a song kind of way. Brian Bell did a pretty solid job with the vocals and it was fun watching Rivers get all into it

Here's another thing that Weezer succeeds in that the Smashing Pumpkins don't.... Weezer still looks cool. You look at the group and they're still fit (not bloated like Iha or Billy), dressed in cool clothes and they nail the aesthetic flawlessly. Check out this awesome performance of Pork and Beans, they have all these old cereal commercials flashing on the screen behind them, it's brilliant and so perfectly Weezer! You can't help but smile

Compare this to the Smashing Pumpkins.... Corgan is bloated and out of shape, Iha is bloated as hell, Jack Bates is horribly out of shape, the stage aesthetic is stupid and pompous.

There's a reason why Weezer is still relevant and the Pumpkins aren't... Billy and the band should take notes from Weezer, plain and simple

I said they are not cool.

I didn’t say they don’t perform in front of large audiences. If anything that makes them less cool, you fucking idiot.

I might get some promo pics done to use for my new music project. I'm gonna start utilizing Youtube now that I'm starting to rake in the Tweeter followers, sorta a cross-platforming thing. Since I'm banned from the gen chat, I won't be able to share them with my friends here!
