please recommend me some slow loud guitar music
that's not sunn 0))) or boris. looking for something more like classic EARTH albums (more american deserts and less black metal). as i mentioned in another thread the only album i have right now that fits this category of what i'm looking for is the jon porras album "black mesa"

I'll just copy paste videos that maybe are close to what you're looking for
They're not instrumental though Loud and slow bluesy/noisy and loud just crazy japanese people with loud guitars I love this CD by them, it's more experimental and slow More experimental than loud Just Doom Metal, on slowmotion Everybody probably already know this by now |

looking into some bardo pond now.
what i like about earth or porras are those long distorted open chords with a few extra strings hitting open notes that you can hear crackle and decay |

then you prolly wont like stuff before hex but who knows. southern lord is a great label as well as hydra head. youd probably like a lot of their bevy of bands.

i've heard this. and mabye this could be used as an example of what i'm talking about. the above example is an example of earth that i'm not looking for. there is too much going on. i prefer the minimal, meditative, dirgey stuff. less riffs, less noise, less drums. more decay, more silence, more space between the notes.
