"Jimmy is a great drummer. It is a fact beyond dispute. Probably one of the top five drummers in rock history. Many SP songs are what they are because of Jimmy's drumming. But Jimmy is gone and now we have Mike, a good drummer in his own right. He's no Jimmy (who is?), but he's no slouch. However, for whatever reason, Mike is being under utilized to this point. TGBK studio songs are not giving proper emphasis to Mike's drumming and the songs are suffering as a result. Perhaps it's Billy's current artistic mood, which emphasizes "pretty" lyrics and synthesizers, or a lack of confidence in Mike's drumming (lack of experience?). Whatever the case, it needs to change. It is my firm belief that the road to SP's renewed rocking greatness runs directly through Mike's drums. SP3 (are we on 3?) will rise or fall with Mike Byrne (and Billy's spirituality). Billy, take off his training wheels and FREE MIKE BYRNE! Would like to hear people's opinions on Mike so far.

Mike's solo (2:00 mark):"

Default why is ted nugents political beliefs part of billy’s worldview?

Two conservative, fag-hatin’, Trump-dick-sucking peas in a pod.

Must have something to do with that hypnotic Stranglehold/Window Paine riff.

I'm pretty sure Billy couldn't handle a gun if his life depended on it.

I'm pretty sure Corgan could handle a gun for his life.

The way he destroyed his equipment in the "Everlasting Gaze" videos -even the outtakes version- show that he can handle his aggressive side pretty well.

Cool

All it takes to handle a gun properly is a familiarity with performative aggression

When you live in the suburbs of Chicago and your father is a drug dealer you learn to handle a gun. And if just to get rid of your abusive stepmother...

Billy wearing his favorite hat:

Is Smashing Pumpkins Frontman Billy Corgan Pro-Trump?
OLIVIA FELDMAN | APRIL 28, 2016
...
Though frontman Billy Corgan has a history of issuing vitriolic Twitter rants and controversial public statements, that hasn't seemed to deter fans from coming out to Pumpkins shows. In a recent interview on the Alex Jones Infowars radio show, Corgan praised how Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has disrupted the system: "One of the most positive aspects of the Trump campaign is that he connected the dots and those people who feel disenfranchised by the system," Corgan said, adding, "Trump is known to most people because he was on a TV show... There's not a smarter communicator on the business level than he is... When you watch his speeches, it's like it's all sound bites, so he's understood."

“One of the MOST positive aspects of the Trump campaign...”

In other words, there are many.
