Isn't that what people usually do with artwork? I'll grant that my analysis is a bit out of the norm for netphoria.

I take exception to this. Accurate accounting for density variations (which are weak functions of salinity and temperature) and land displacement (which is a function of the 3D shapes of the continents) is not easy. Those were just two of the things I mentioned I was ignoring. There are a whole host of other factors that would go into an accurate determination of the maximum possible worldwide rise in sea level. Let's see your analysis. What do you mean about making it look respectable?

Opened it up.

Math's really not my thing, but it was kinda interseting looking at this. You kinda started to do a rhetorical criticism on the piece, when you went into the sun part- you could probably go deeper? I haven't critiqued/analyzed anything in a while, I've been out of college for some time and haven't really needed to!
