Why do all these fuzzy threads bemoan the downfall of corporate giants that only ever served to homogenize supply, streamline the exploitation of developing economies and crush all the independent retailers for whom feelings of attachment and/or sympathy make several times more sense?

I wonder if he'll make a thread for Pfizer when digital medicine is added to the iPhone store.

I learned on NPR today that online sales only accounted for 9% of total retail sales last quarter in the US, so blaming amazon for this is nonsensical. Maybe their business model just sucked or was outdated and unable to adapt to a changing world

I have nostalgic emotions tied to the place too and I only ever got taken to one like once followed up with CiCi's Pizza which I thought was totally the best

it's kinda telling that what I ended up getting from there was a videogame that Walmart would have sold for 10 dollars cheaper

Default Joe Rogan gets Alex Jones stoned and drinks whiskey with him during an interview

Man, this is one legendary interview!

I can't believe it took me so long to watch this. I don't know how anyone can watch this and not think that Alex Jones is an authentic guy.

I never realized that there was so much truth to that Pizza-Gate story. Even Rogan thinks there's something to it... That's some fucked up shit.

Toys R Us was bought years ago by an investment firm, which then shifted debt onto the company and mismanaged it. It was the extraction of capitol from the company that ruined it. it's inability to compete was a symptom of the fiscal mismanagement.

This is a typical move in Corporate America. Buy a company, borrow against it and saddle it with debt from the larger corporation, then file for bankruptcy and be rid of the debt.

It's a giant legal scam.
