i guess birch grove is sort of about his reputation/the fandom

he's just WPC "but I grew stronger as someone else"
now fans are moving on "my seedlings roam..."

"In Celtic cultures, the birch symbolises....adaptability because it is highly adaptive and able to sustain harsh conditions with casual indifference. Proof of this adaptability is seen in its easy and eager ability to repopulate areas damaged by forest fires or clearings."

"Drums are often made from birch. Prior to the 1970s, it was one of the most popular drum woods." funny cause there aren't any fucking drums on the record

The funny thing is that you couldn’t see that I was literally parodying the way you speak to people here. I’m half British btw, my mother is from Liverpool. Good luck with your music man, I checked it out and it’s not bad at all. I know the band issues stuff, we are on our fifth drummer, and it’s taken entirely too long to finish our album with money issues and stuff. A shame that tour didn’t pan out for you.

What are you gonna do when all the 2* reviews for CYR come out, abandon the notion that you can make your own mind up? Do you even appreciate music or just like what you're told is good?
It’s all gonna be alright mate.

I’m more interested in the fact that took moved to Turkey. What prompted that lifestyle change man?

This is the worst collection of music Billy’s ever put together and it’s not even close. Poor Sumerian Records

I foresee
A time without me
So now like the trees, I've stood
For so long
So long

Shading light
Beside the falling rain
All alone
In love with age
And someone
Someone else

Sundays come and Sundays leave
Sundays wait
Won't you stand with me
Not someone
Not someone else

My seedlings grow, and grow
And home is whatever ground they hold
Shading light
Beside the falling rain
All alone, in love with age
And someone
Someone else

But I've grown stronger
As someone
As someone
As someone else

Shading light
Beside the falling rain
All alone, in love with age
And someone
Someone else

Sundays come and Sundays leave
Sundays wed, won't you stand with me
Not someone
Not someone else

As my seedlings grow and grow
Towards someone
Towards someone else

The birch grove stands for us

This whole song is about him watching his old fanbase remain attached to the person he used to be and no longer is.

I'll say this much for it, the imagery is nice and evocative. He's come down from the indecipherable Oceania-era lyrics.

I really like it. I just wish there were more of it - It's over too soon. Why in the hell must everything here be like three and a half minutes?

Sounds like it’a about his family. I’d imagine the birch grove is something on his estate. There’s a forest separating the house from the stoney beach of the lake.

Billy fighting with Zero and Glass inside his head. I'm starting to believe Billy has dissociative identity disorder.

This legit made me spit out my choccy milk. Haven't laughed at a Netpho joke in ages.

My band toured with From First to Last in 2004. My aunt bought an underage Sonny Moore cigarettes before a show while we all rode around in her van. Still no 5* or even 2* album, though.

it bugs me how she's the most insanely stereotypical hippy groupie woman that ruins a band by being given too much influence

Yeah it would do Billy tons of good to work with some discerning people. He should work with someone who isn't in the inner circle or totally washed up

It’s even creepier that he keeps women he’s had relationships with around as his lackeys. Idk about Katie but it wouldn’t surprise me either.

Oh William these are the best vocals ever, and the lyrics and the melody and the song and some people have said bad things but I didn't.

For. Fucks. Sake.

These songs, all of them have been okay/alright with CYR being a good lead single. Incidently my four year old son loves the new songs (having heard two in the car once). He was desperate to see the cartoons when I mentioned. I've watched two of them and he's not going to be watching them. Own goal there Bill.

Yeah, a real missed opportunity to cash-in on all the 80’s synth-goth fans in pre-school.

Of all Billy’s terrible judgments, this might cost him the most.
