i mean it's just my opinion. and you're right, he isn't positioning himself as an intellectual, he's an entertainer. i've been watching several of these back to back and if you compare this one to say, tom morello, billy howerdell, or amy lee, there's a clear difference though.

(fun fact, RATM sued the government to make them stop using rage songs as torture at guantanamo bay)

It's pretty unprofessional of him tbh.

He's a toolbag for sure but a lot of this is pretty well-known. I don't think he has a reason to lie. You can tell when parts are cut where he probably said "you have to cut that part"
