and then finished in
June 1996 - Soundworks, Chicago (Billy Corgan/Jeff Moleski)

so the solo was probably done in chicago

I always assumed the "spoken word bits courtesy of my friend" was that his friend recorded him on a dictaphone and gave billy the tape afterwards... a typical "hey dude bro!. you probably don't remember cause you were sooo high, but after we dropped acid I recorded some of the crazy stuff you were saying. Here's the tape"
