mirena! i thought an iud would be a great idea (no pills to remember for 5 years) but these side effects just aren't worth it. i can deal with light spotting and weight gain but acne and no sex drive is where i draw the line.

Prior to having to go to my OB constantly now, I generally go to the GP/family dr every 3-4 months. I've also got several specialists I go to (more so now) 2-4x a year to check in and make sure everything is good. My health sucks.

Yeah the mirena is so different for different people...I know two women who swear by them and one who has been miserable and is about to have it taken out. I can't do pills, they just make me crazy. I don't know what to do. Guess I'll go to the women's clinic and ask. Bleh. I know so many people who have trouble getting pregnant and I almost feel bad that I have the opposite problem. I wish we could swap bodies or something so I didn't have to worry about it and they could have lots of babies.

Get an MRI twice a year to monitor the slow degeneration of my brain
It's held steady for three years so I think it mostly serves to ruin my finances

Going back again soon because of my stomach/gallbladder issues

I took nexium for about a month, didn't do shit

So now going to have my gallbladder examined and debate whether or not to take it out

I was ready to say 20 years but I just remembered the bronchitis that hit me in Jan 2000, so since then.
