These are not factory farmed animals, which are bad for the planet. These are grown on a permaculture grass farm that sequesters carbon in it's soil. Raising livestock this way builds soil.

You cannot have healthy, productive soil without animals. Just like you can't have carbon rich grasslands without grazing animals.

Yes, if you grow animals in feed lots using corn grown on dead soil using petrochemicals it's very bad for the environment. But you can grow livestock which is part of a carbon cycle that mimics nature and is a net benefit.

Here is a recipe for jerk chicken. Dang I love jerk chicken.

1/2 cup malt vinegar (or white vinegar)
2 tablespoons dark rum
2 Scotch bonnet peppers (or habaneros), with seeds, chopped
1 red onion, chopped
4 green onion tops, chopped
1 tablespoon dried thyme or 2 Tbsp fresh thyme leaves, chopped
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
4 teaspoons ground allspice
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
4 teaspoons ground nutmeg
4 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons molasses
1 (5 or 6 pound) roasting chicken, cut in half, lengthwise
1/2 cup lime juice
Salt and pepper

I seem to have spent all my time on only the meatiest cuts of the planet and might lack comparison-grade awareness beyond that. It is quite apparent that Argentinians do go hard on beef in particular, but I find myself a little surprised that Australia and New Zealand devour any more corpse per capita than Canada or China. Reckon the numbers ultimately drip down from production, somehow?

I made Ga Chien Nuoc Mam. Very easy and tastier than I expected. I use Viet HuongThree Crabs fish sauce. You could bake the wings if you don't want to fry them
:

5 lbs chicken wings
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder

6 cups vegetable oil
1 cup cornstarch
Fish Sauce Glaze

2 tablespoons fish sauce
4 tablespoons granulated white sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons water

Marinate chicken with garlic powder, salt, ground black pepper and chicken/mushroom stock powder for at least 30 minutes.
Coat marinated chicken wings with cornstarch. Tap off excess cornstarch.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet to 350F. If you don't have a thermometer, drop a bit of corn starch into the oil. If it starts to sizzle without burning quickly, oil is ready. Deep fry chicken wings in batches, about 6-8 minutes per batch or until golden brown. Transfer chicken to a wire rack to drain off excess oil.
In a small saucepan make the fish sauce glaze: heat fish, sugar, lemon juice and water for 2-3 minutes and turn off heat. Allow the sauce to cool to slightly thicken. Once the sauce is slightly thickened, toss chicken and sauce (a little at a time to your liking) in a large mixing bowl. Transfer chicken to a platter and serve immediately.
