I finished NFS Undercover earlier tonight. I'll agree that the story is fucking stupid bullshit, but I always enjoyed the fuck with the or get away from the cops missions.
I'd buy Midnight Club LA, but it's a new release. Wonder if it's cheap on eBay... |

Thanks to the Xbox 360 amazingly shit software emulation, Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition Remix does not play on it. So I'll be returning that to Game Stop.
A friend was telling me about Saint's Row 2 at lunch today. It sounded pretty awesome. True? |

GTA: The Ballad of Gay Tony
To coincide with the launch of “Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony” on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, Rockstar games is also releasing “Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City” , a single spectacular disc that includes both episode one “The Lost and Damned”, and episode two “The Ballad of Gay Tony”. That’s right. In the second downloadable episode, “The Ballad of Gay Tony”, you’ll adopt the role of Luis Lopez, assistant to legendary Liberty City nightclub owner Tony ‘Gay Tony’ Prince. In Gay Tony’s glitzy underworld of high-end nightlife it’s hard to tell who’s real or fake. Keeping the balance between family duty and loyalty to friends leads Luis Lopez into all kinds of messy business while acting upon Tony’s demands. “The Ballad of Gay Tony” will cost 1600 MS points and requires that you own Grand Theft Auto IV for Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE membership to download. “Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City” will not require a copy of the original Grand Theft Auto IV to play but will be available as a full-price Xbox 360 title at retail. |

Almost finished with Saint's Row 2 and it's been fucking amazing. Just wish I didn't focus on stuff on the side so much when I started playing. It pretty much left only missions to do, which are fun, but are not as ridiculous. I'd recommend this game to pretty much any male who has enjoyed violent video games at some point in their life. The insane amounts of "fuck stuff up" in this game are too much for some people.
On the negative side, it isn't nearly as impressive graphics-wise as GTA 4. Any good games out there that aren't "reaching the next level-up"-based? |

WoW wishes it was as much fun and addicting as Diablo II was.
Right now I'm trying to finish GTA4. Rented SF4 and it's okay. Bought The Orange Box for dirt cheap and I can honestly say that Portal was the most fun I've had playing a game in awhile. I can't wait to see Valve do more with this kind of game. |

i wouldn't say diablo has much on wow, its a pretty awful timesink too
portal is really great fun. team fortress 2 is my favourite fps of all time, but i couldn't play it without a mouse and keyboard, too restrictive. |

I've been playing what I like to call the Turn of the Century All-Stars:
Diablo II Civ 3 Homeworld Baldur's Gate 2 Planescape: Torment Alpha Centauri and as always Out of the Park 8. I made 24 team logos in photoshop. That's my team, the Nashville Skyline. And yes, I did take the name from a Bob Dylan album. Would You Like to Know More? |

right now i'm downloading civ 4. the reccomended settings are the same as my comptors but i downloaded it once before and it started to smog right around when i got nuclear capability. I think i was playing on an enormous map though.
I want to play Civ 4: Colonization because i was a MASSIVE fan of the original Colonization, which I actually played before I played Civ. |

raiding is kinda boring. i know people are like OMG THE WHOLE GAME OPENS UP AFTER 80 but it's still just the same crap, you just look for more gear and raise your dps. there's nothing else to do. and i always find that the people that are raiding are usually really obsessive wow is srs bsnss kind of people that look at it like a hobby instead of a wasteful timesink.

Videoogames: the thread.
i want everyone to know that the ghostbusters game is awesome. figured we need a generral video game discussion thread up in here.
anyone know anything about the saw game? i googled it but could not find anything other than it is being made, we have a date for it at work, but i know nothing of the mechanics or gameplay or anything, so if anyone has the scoop let me know. and does the new tony hawk come with like a wii fit type of skate board? cause it's presaling for 100 bucks and i cant imagine why that would be. one more thing, anyone know how to delete trophy sets on ps3? cause i can not figure it out at all, and even after reformating they are still there > |

after stupid street fighter 4 sessions when i was in glasgow i've turned back to team fortress 2 on the pc
dunno if anyone here really plays it but the sniper and spy updates are now out. spy's been my favourite class for ages and is easily my most played, but I think they've been a bit screwed on the update. snipers have been made even more fucking annoying, and the fact that there's been an update means tons more people are now going sniper. |

The saw game is like any other minigame collection. You have a pain meter and gotta do the shit before time runs out. The guys on the hotspot podcast talked about the level they got to play being a dig thru a toliet of syringes and find a key before time runs out. Seems really shitty to me.
