A new SP album with Butch Vig is the last card to play to drum up new hype

Now that the big comeback reunion album flopped, the last remaining way to create some hype would be to team up with Vig again.

Honestly, Butch might be the fulcrum to that beloved vintage SP sound and a new album with Vig would be something that everyone would be super curious to check out.

Seems like the last card to play in order to draw up some surefire hype and attention.

Oh, basically just sometimes gambling sites are a little sluggish with getting up the games ready to wager on. I had come home from work yesterday and I saw the line was out but it took the site like 3 hours before they offered it. It happens sometimes. Bit of a nuisance.

He's 63 (I'm guessing that was a joke).

BC going back to Vig would essentially be BC admitting the failure of everything he's tried to do since the band came back together. The Shiny tour was the first step, so it would be interesting to see if a) Vig would ever do an album with him again and b) he'd get D'arcy back to really hammer it home.

My guess is that he wouldn't.

Your mileage may vary, but Wasting Light was the best the Foo Fighters had sounded since their first two records. He has a way of bringing out the best of the bands he works with.
