Crowds were so much better in these days. Just look at everyone going apeshit after the breakdown. Foo Fighters kicked ass at this show too. After their set Dave Grohl lit his guitar on fire, but of course Green Day were the next band of the night and went on to burn the drumset which was much cooler to watch.
But how was Creed?

Funny enough, the "My Own Prison" album never really caught on in Canada. It was basically a flop here. That's why it was so surprising to me when I read that it was one of the top selling records of the 90's in the United States.

Creed really didn't become big here until that album with "Higher" came out.

Nope.. Completely missed them. I was in line at the autograph booth to meet the Killjoys, but I could still hear Creed and their Pearl Jam sound across the concert grounds . Killjoys seemed to find it entertaining talking to some dumb 12 year old fan. I recall a lot of smirking going on lol

I reckon you Yankees have never heard of em.

I used to love these guys.

See, in the first video, the singer and drummer are wearing those 90's shirts that I made a thread about

Next up for this edition of Fuzzy's 90's Canadian Alt-Rock showcase we have a REAL treat for you. This is honestly some spectacular 90's grunge goodness! This is from an Ontario band, and it's one of my favorite cover tunes of all time.

This was a bonus track off of their US release of their 1997 album "Sold For A Smile". This album is long out of print so it's sometimes hard to even find this song online.

Anyhow, really, check this out guys. This will be one of the highlights of the showcase.

I love the Cyndi Lauper version of this song, but this one's so much better.

I listened on good faith, and no, just no. Godawful, fuzzy. Shit went out of print for good reason.

Nope, not at all. Just didn't like it. It sounds like '90s Music Sucks: The Band to me.

Band was very pedestrian, almost passable, but I couldn't move past the vocalist. The only thing the song has going for it is the composition itself, but they didn't write the song.

Feel free to post an original of theirs that you think represents them well and I'll give it a shot.

One of my favorite Canadian alt-rock hits of the 90's.

I wish someone had the music video on youtube, but the only version featured is in shit quality.

Enjoy the song!

(These guys were often compared to Smashing Pumpkins when they debuted!)

Here's the video too, if you're curious. It really is a dope, high-budget video. Don't miss out on this quality 90's Canadian goodness

Hey FG, my apologies, I initially missed this inquiry.

Check out this song! Perfect for the summer! Fucking alt-rock goodness!

Now listen to that and try to tell me that it isn't at least as good as 3EB

The video is the radio edit, I've always felt that the album version is superior

Don't think I don't know an unknown Grunge Crash Test Dummies single to hit you with!

Default The Fuzzy Candlelight ballad mix

Cozy up to that beautiful youthful lady who's out of your league yet somehow is romantically embracing you with a mug of Ovaltine hot cocoa. Turn off the lights, light a few pillar candles and play The Fuzzy Candlelight ballad mix and be ready for a passionate session of love making.

One of my favorite popular bands of the 00's.

While I like the Solara video, man, you see a touching, beautiful cinematographic music video like the one above and there's really no comparison

I fucking love the New Found Glory drummer. Just listen to him on that outro. Perfectly measured and contained but he really adds an added intensity and bombast that wasn't present in the rest of the song and the guy always has great fills.
