James and Jeff are now BFF, they will leave the Pumpkins to start a band formed by asian-americans only. Chino Moreno, SSPU's christopher guanlao and John Ro Myung.

I am Jimmy's reiki shaman, and I can tell you the only thing he's drunk on these days is the "fizzy high" he gets from drinking really fresh sarsaparilla

Show me a picture where Jack is NOT wearing his black "Adidas Samba Classic" shoes...

Still lots of tickets for the second show in Chicago:

Someone better take that ticket that is literally positioned inside the mixer.

you sure it's not positioned figuratively inside the mixer?

Red face

Lou Reed's last stage performance was in September 2012, as a guest from the band Metric:

I was expecting a half-empty arena but it was a good sized crowd. The very upper half of the upper deck was closed off, but there were plenty of people in the lower half sections of the UD. Everywhere else was pretty full.

However, by 11:30, if the arena was about half full. I don't blame them for leaving - these shows are 3+ straight hours of non-stop music. If you can make it to Stairway, the rest of the show is pretty easy as the energy from the band stays up for the rest of the set.

I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to play Wrigley Field next year.

Bill did mention on FB before the tour started, while they were having people send in requests that they might be playing different stuff on second nights and went "Starla anyone?" So the running assumption was that they would. Sucks that they didn't but oh well.

Why would you want to hear Starla when you have "Baby Mine"?

Does anyone know who the red-haired dancer was in the For Martha video? It does not look like that Mosh model in a wig.

Never Let Me Down Again? Nah, we'll cut that from the setlist and add a cover of the most trite overplayed classic rock song of all time with a version that definitely won't top the original.

I know Stairway to Heaven is something every guitar player tries to play. Is it that often covered though by mainstream artists at shows though?

No it's not, because no band with any sense would ever attempt to cover a song as overplayed as Stairway. It's like covering Smells Like Teen Spirit.

He's doing it on purpose because it's a an overplayed cliche of a song, because he never wanted to do a greatest hits tour. It's allllllll sarcasm
