Default Two audio editing questions:

1. What program should I use to extract audio losslessly from DVD? Is there an EAC equivalent? I've used DVD Audio Extractor before with good results.

2. What is the best way to go about speed/pitch correcting a recording that runs fast?

i've always ripped audio with a standalone digital recorder in real time however when you copy a dvd doesn't it create separate folders for video and audio files? i can't remember.

Please don't do this if you plan on sharing it after, this is lossy. If you are using SPDIF, then it may not be, however it still isn't a great solution.

This is good advice if you are extracting from a physical DVD.

If you have an ISO or a some VOB files, then use ffmpeg to do a lossless transcode to FLAC. I think you can install ffmpeg on Windows. The following command will do the job:
Code:
ffmpeg -i VTS_01_1.VOB audio.flac
Use Audacity for speed and/or pitch correction. http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Change_Speed

1. This is all entirely for personal use

2. Don't try to warn or pre-blame me for polluting a non-existent trading pool. That ship sailed years ago. Decades maybe.
