I was there...good show. The crowd was shit though. No one knew what the hell was being played more than half the show. I guess it also doesn't help that I had a bunch of douchebags behind me screaming "PLAY THE OLD SHIT!" "NICE DRESS BILLY" and then booing nonstop right in my fucking ear during set the controls. I made it a point to clap really loud and slow after they finished and I heard a "looks like someone liked it" come from one of the guys behind me.
Overall awesome setlist...you couldn't hear jimmy's snare for a bit in the first few songs, but that was fixed later. And Jeffs guitar was low compared to the last 2 NYC shows. |

Anyone else think that MCIS->Today is a bit of blasphemy?
Very nice set, though. |

It was great if you had good seats, and I did. I got 4 star vip for 80.00 each with the promo code, so I was expecting row 15-20. I had section 2 row b seat 7 and 6. Thats 2nd row from the stage center. I was showered with corgan spit and picks.

Yeah, this show was awesome. I loved Set the Controls, and so did a lot of people in my area. However, a few people around us started booing, to which other people started screaming awesome, until there was a back and forth "boo! awesome! boo! awesome! boo! awesome!" battle going on for a while.

i didn't stay with the people that i came with, but when we left together they all agreed that it was an amazing show. one person called it an "experience" in a good way. it certaintly was that way for me.
they could play set the controls for another 1//2 hour and i would be loving it. i was sad that it had to end. another person that i went to the other show with said that some of the parts sounded like whales communicating. i love that because i love the sound of whales communicating. i love the sound of billy communicating more but whales are wonderful. i took a lot of pictures. i wanted to post a few of them here but photobucket is not working. is there another way? |

.
I wonder how Billy felt about performing in a casino for the first time. Especially with all of the smoke he had to walk through before and after the show, he's always complaining about how it hurts his throat to breathe in, now. |

I don't think they made Billy walk through the casino floor to get to the show.

as someone who has spent a little time with whales i'd just like to say on their behalf that this post is extremely offensive and belies a substantial amount of insensitivity and deeply seated anti-whale-ism |

I got landslide and disarm on vid.. landslide is so shaky because I couldnt keep my hand still so you guys might puke watching it I don't think it's worth uploading it... disarm is ok, where should I upload it too?
.. It's such a catch 22 sitting farther back ... last year I was so close and my videos were incredible but the audio was horrid because i was right next an amp.. this year i wasn't even that far.. but most of the vids are bad resolution.. |

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed that Live SP failed to deliver this time. Did anyone happen to tape the show in decent quality?
